What is Corp Catering?

Corp Catering is one of the services offered by The Corp, the largest student run 501(c)(3) non-profit in the world. We provide casual catering to the entire Georgetown community including faculty, administration, student groups, and visitors to campus. From small, 10 person meetings to large campus events like New Student Orientation, Parents Weekend, and GAAP, we strive to deliver personalized personalized perfection and superior service to our customers. How do I place an order at CorpCatering.org?

At least 48 hours in advance of your event, browse the Corp Catering website and add the items that you would like to purchase to your cart, then proceed to chec At check-out, enter your delivery information, payment info, and any additional notes for our staff (Ex: Please use the side door!). You can pay with credit card, GU Cost Center ID, or CPC Grant No. Once you’ve completed checkout, you will receive an “Order Pending” notification to your email. A member of our staff will review the order and send you a confirmation email if we can accept the order.

Where does Corp Catering deliver?

We deliver to any location within Georgetown University’s Main and Medical-Dental campuses. If you have questions about delivery to a specific location, please feel free to contact us.

Why is there a delivery fee on my order?

We add an automatic $10 delivery fee to every order to compensate for the extra wages required for delivery. The fee can be waived if you prefer to pick up your own order from our kitchen facility in the Healey Family Student Center.

Why do I need to enter “Pick-up” time at check-out?

While many of our supplies are disposable or recyclable, we usually use insulated beverage urns, linens, or tables that need to be retrieved after the event. Enter the most convenient “Pick-up” time at check-out and we’ll come back then to retrieve our supplies.

What do I do if I have multiple delivery times and/or dates?

Please create a separate order and complete checkout for each delivery that you would like.

Do I need a personalized account to order from Corp Catering?

No, you can always checkout as a guest from the Corp Catering website. Customers with a Georgetown NetID can create an account to save and revisit previous orders and invoices. This is most convenient for repeat or frequent customers.

How do I get in touch with the Corp Catering staff?

As the whole staff of Catering are full-time students, we are often quite busy. The best way to reach us is by email at catering@thecorp.org but you can also call us at 202-657-1038. During our operating hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm you can expect to hear back within two hours, however, on evenings and weekends our response time may be slower.

How much advance notice does Corp Catering need for my last-minute order?

We require 48 hours notice to guarantee delivery of any order. Orders placed with less notice will be accepted on a case by case basis. You should not consider your order accepted until you receive a personalized note from one of our staff members informing you of confirmation.

Are supplies included in my Corp Catering order?

Yes, all necessary supplies including plates, napkins, utensils, cups, and linens are included with every order.

Why is there an early morning delivery fee showing up on my order?

When an order is scheduled for delivery before 8am we charge an extra $15 to account for the extra wage hours required to begin operations earlier than usual.

Can I rent a table or toaster to go with my order?

Yes, you’ll find an option to rent a toaster in the “Breakfast” section of the menu and an option to rent a table during your checkout.

Can I rent beverage urns and/or linens for an event without purchasing the food from Corp Catering?

Yes, if you’re interested in renting equipment without placing an order please email catering@thecorp.org with your inquiry to discuss availability and pricing.

What forms of payment does Corp Catering accept?

Corp Catering accepts payment through credit card and GU Cost Center ID on our website. If you were awarded a Corp Philanthropy Committee grant you can choose that option at check-out and enter your grant number to apply the award to your order. If you need to pay by check, contact us at catering@thecorp.org to discuss specifics.

Why is a tax showing up in my order total?

As you are browsing and shopping a tax will show up in your cart to help approximate the total. However, if you choose the Cost Center payment method the tax will disappear before the order is charged. Tax is automatically applied to credit card orders, but if you are a tax-exempt customer paying with a credit card you can send an email to catering@thecorp.org with your exemption information and we will refund the full tax to your card.

Do you have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options?

Yes, yes, and yes! If you have any questions about allergens or product offerings please contact our staff at catering@thecorp.org in advance of your order.

If I need to cancel my order, can I get a full refund?

Yes, as long as you let us know one full business day in advance of your delivery date, we'd be happy to refund the full amount of your order. After that point, we will have already purchased the supplies for your delivery and may not be able to refund the full amount
