What is considered a Non-Boxed Item?

A Non-Boxed Item is any item that cannot fit into one of our boxes, such as plastic storage bins or plastic shelving. Note: Non-Boxed Items cannot exceed 70 lbs, and we will not accept large pieces of furniture.

Do I have to use Corp boxes for storage?

No, you can purchase storage using non-Corp boxes by purchasing an “Own box” item. You also can store non-boxed items that meet our height and weight requirements by purchasing a “Non-boxed item”

Is the listed price for the entire duration, or per month?

The price listed in our Corp Storage Shop is the price to store for the entire Summer session and if applicable the fall abroad storage session.

Where can I find the storage supplies?

We will be offering pickup for storage supplies on Friday May 3rd from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM outside Vital Vittles (in the Leavey Center) and Monday May 6th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM outside Vital Vittles. You can also pick up supplies at McShain Lounge (in McCarthy Hall) from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM on May 7th, 9th, or 11th where we will also be holding order drop-offs.

When can I deliver my items?

You can deliver your items on May 7th, 9th, and 11th from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM to McShain Lounge.

Where is McShain Lounge?

McShain Lounge is on the bottom floor of McCarthy Hall in the Southwest Quad.

When and how will my items be returned?

Unless you are storing with us through a Georgetown program or have contacted us individually, items that are stored for the Summer Term must be picked-up on August 26th or 27th. If you purchased in dorm pick up and delivery your items will be delivered to your new dorm before move-in!.

Can I store my items for longer than Summer 2024?

Yes! If you are planning to study abroad in the Fall 2024, we can store your order until the start of the spring semester. Select “Full Summer + Fall Study Abroad” from the Storage Period drop down menu when you place your order. You will receive an email from us to coordinate logistics for picking up your order.

How can I cancel my order?

Any order cancellations or refund requests should be made to storage-help@thecorp.org.

Can I just purchase boxes?

Yes! Make sure to select the “Box Only” Option

How does “Delivery Service” work?

We have upgraded our delivery services this year and are offering “white glove” pick-up and drop-off. This means that you can leave your items in your dorm when you leave campus. We have worked with the University to get key access to on-campus housing and will pick up your items after move out and deliver them to your fall accommodations before move in. This is only an option available for students living on-campus both this year and next year
